Bream Close is a medium sized development of 304 flats
and houses built at Heron Wharf on the banks of the River Lea. This
is our 'unknown' corner of London in Haringey, bordering on Waltham
Forest. We enjoy living on this well-kept estate, with on the one
hand the green spaces of Tottenham Marshes and Paddock wildlife
area and the river, and on the other Tottenham Hale
Underground (Victoria Line, just 4 stops from King's Cross) and
British Rail with direct and rapid services to Stansted or Liverpool
Street.
Birds seen from the
estate include swans, herons, coots, moorhens, geese and the
occasional kingfisher!
The Tottenham Hale Masterplan
lays out the
regeneration and redevelopment of the wider area over the next few
years. This will benefit us in the run up to the 2012 Olympics.
